you talk about muslims in europe atacking the culture of the europeans.im not aware of what other europeans culture is but if im looking at the british culture (i was born and bred in the UK)...the 'native culture' is all about getting drunk...promiscuity...rowdy hooligans....oh and fish and chips!the reason that there are many muslims in europe now...is simply because there are many 'reverts' to Islam.so many of the muslims are european anyway. as regrd to immigration rules...frances assimilation ideology that has been enforced has done nothing to improve situations/behaviours of these immigrants.

i accept i am british...i accept i have to follow the law of the land...but i will not compromise my faith.and if the law of the land goes against my my way of life.then i will go to a place where i can practise my way of life.

I don't live in the Uk but I have spent a large amount of time there and British culture is about far more than getting drunk and promiscuity. Have you been to the Tate or the British Museum? When was the last time you went to a play in the west end or wathced the trooping of the guard at Buckingham Palace? You may be British but you don't have a clue of what made Britain Britain. You wallow in your self pity and your religion and whine about how corrupt it all is. When was the last time someone forced you to have sex or to get drunk? If the freedoms Brits have bothers you by all means, move.

My wife, and so my in-laws, are British. Last February I was in the Registrars Office in Halifax signing my name to our son's birth certificate. I was curious why I had to use the pen the registrar handed me and the story goes thus. In the 1820's the British were properly proud of their accomplishments and with that were interested in what led to their position as global power. Coming from such a small island, with all the limits on resource this implies, they rightly assumed it had to do with the character of their culture. Culture is something carried down from grandparent to infant and all down the line the British passed on systems for conveying their life-style and values. Part of glorifying your culture is awareness of those who passed it on to you. So, the British began to construct family trees complete with family crests. To this day you will visit homes in England and on the wall will be a family tree, drawn on parchment and framed, dating names and relations back hundreds of years. How is this done?

Of course one might remember their grandparents and maybe their grandparents’ parents but even two hundred years ago folk found it difficult to recount much further back then that. So, they used to go to the church and find the record kept there of births, deaths and marriage. Notice this is the information one finds in family trees. Suppose you find your family was only in town four generations ago? The church kept record of where their new citizens moved from and if you were motivated enough you could go to the church in that town and find your family record as far back as the late 1600's. Since many churches were destroyed, during England's Civil War, in the 1660's records of peoples’ lives are often lost past that point.

In the 1830's the British Registrar's Office took from the church the task of keeping record of births, deaths and marriage. Since the interest in finding such records was at a high the office commissioned an ink company to create an ink that could only be sold to the British Registrar. This ink must be used on all documents such as the one I filled out last February. It's called Blue-Black ink because when you write with it the pigment is bluish and when it dries it becomes black. This ink is meant to keep for hundreds of years. While other inks fade and names, dates, current events, fads, sexual forays and the such are rotten and forgotten this ink will remember my son. His great grandson may one day come to Halifax and find my handwriting left by me on one of the greatest days of my life. He will see my name and where I was born. He will see my wife's name and he will know that his ancestors were subject-citizens of one of the greatest Empires ever. Go to the Tate. See the British Museum. Visit the armories. Tour the Thames. Read Conrad, Chaucer, Orwell and the King James Bible. For G-d's sake read Schama, Churchill and Macaulay. Look at the Houses of Parliament and think of what brilliance is buried in Westminster Abby and when you submit towards that black cube five times a day recall that you placed Allah's yoke on your own neck. No one forced you to make that choice because Britain retreated from Empire thinking people will be better off free to rule themselves and would thus leave them alone. They were wrong.

Most Muslims in England are Pakistani, not English. To be British is to have your genes mashed together by Britons, Romans, Gauls, Vikings, Saxons, Celts and so one. To be British is to have had someone in your family once as vassal to certain kings and queens, to have fought in the Civil War and to have contributed to the Empire. You will have fathers and grandfathers who beat Germans in two wars, saved the French one too many times and beat Napoleon too. Even if you are too new to the UK for this to have been written with your genetic code then at least respect those who were there before you and take on the history you found in your new country as your own. Indians come to England and work hard. They pay their dues and they treat their country with respect. Your Pakistani brethren do not. I am not British and having spent some time in Bradford I know what I'm talking about. You will see people of African, Indian and Oriental descent and all of them contribute. The Pakistanis are the largest non-native group to draw from England’s social service and also the biggest complainers about their lot in the country. Every place Muslims go, every nation they have a border with or has allowed them to enter as citizens, has conflict. Be it in Israel, Sudan, China, Thailand, Spain, Russia, etc... you claim victim hood while victimizing, you feign fear while terrorizing, and you prefer martyrs to problem solvers. I can't say for certain but I believe your ancestors would be ashamed of the submission you have chosen.

If you want to know what European culture is then pick up a nice book by Jacques Barzun called “From Dawn to Decadence”. That should get you started.

London_muslimah, you're a moron. Pull your head out of the Koran and maybe read a some English history. It's short on pillaging, rapine, murder, and rape relative to that of the "ummah," but there's a bit more to it than drunkennes and promiscuity -- whcih, as any Saudi princeling will tell you, don't happen in the House of Submission, Heavans to betsey, no! You people tart up tyour nasty behaviour with all sorts of pious swill, but then again, an epileptic pedophile is your example of a perfect human being.

You should go somewhere else... like southwest Afghanistan. I hear the Taliban are looking for a few good men and boys.

Poguemahone muslima. For as much as you muslims decry on our society, you contribute nothing to it. Please take whatever fortune you have made in these isles and go back to the desert. Why do so many muslims choose not to live in Muslim? Do all countries on earth need to be as lousy as yours?
